GasNet is an independent trading division of Wanganui
Gas Limited, which owns and operates gas networks in the following
five areas:
- Wanganui
- Marton
- Bulls (Including lake Alice)
- Flockhouse
- Waitotara
A range of services are provided by GasNet to its customers, energy
retailers who supply gas to the end users on our networks. These
services include:
- Transportation of gas
- 24 hour network emergency service
- Complete gas metering system service (design to commissioning)
- Time-of-Use meter reading (remote and on-site download)
- Equipment and materials procurement
- Contract gas pipework projects
In providing these services, GasNet has developed a comprehensive
Information Memorandum and
model network agreement.
These documents provide the information and contractual obligations
under which the above services are provided. The documents were
originally released in February 1999 and are presently under review.
GasNet's operational base is located in Cooks Street, Wanganui.
